Simon writes, “I'm filled with joy to be able to share that I have been appointed the role of Vicar of Newburn. Exciting time lies ahead of what I know is a fantastic place within the Tyne Valley, a place close to my heart. It is a double-sided coin, as there is also the sadness of leaving Pelton and West Pelton parishes, and the wider community of the diocese of Durham. I will look back on my time here as a curate, with great fondness, but I know we are still one in Christ wherever we serve.”
