Welcome to Newburn Parish

Currently services are being suspended during lockdown. However we are open for individual private prayer every Sunday  9.30am - 10:30am at St Michaels and 11am - 12pm at St Marys. Please check the blog regularly for all updates.

We now have a Youtube channel which can be found here. The video of Allison's Harvest sermon can be found below and videos will be posted on the blog.

We are also operating a support system for those who are self-isolating.

The churches of the parish of Newburn aim to be a:

Community in which all are valued as brothers and sisters in the Lord, sharing

Hope in God’s certain promises demonstrated through the life, death and

Resurrection of Jesus.

In him we find life in all its fullness, life which we aim to

Share with others, working

Together as one body.

We are two Churches in one Parish - St Michaels in Newburn (next to the library) and St Marys in Throckley (on the main roundabout) . If you want to find out more about us then have a look around our website or if you have any questions please contact us.

All are welcome to come along to our services, you don't need to dress smart, be quiet or even be good - just come as you are. We will be really pleased to see you.
